Signings & Departures 23/24

That's another solid signing for Belfast, which as good as sorts their roster. I'd probably expect them to sign a spare, but probably not quite the quality of the rest of the squad.
Looking at the goal scoring depth in the forwards, I'd expect them to score a similar number of goals as last season, which gives us all a problem.
I've not got one of their import forwards below 20 goals, whereas Cardiff I already have a couple below 20. I know the Cardiff fans love Brandt for his 100% commitment, but he's not likely to trouble the scorers much.
I'm hoping we have a couple of top end forwards still to come, so we can at least get close to the Belfast goal scoring threat.

For me Belfast have too much depth for the rest of us, they’ve 9 forwards that are all capable of scoring over 20 goals, it’s quality really the ability to swap any of their forwards between lines. Even with two top end guys we are still gonna struggle because when the top guys take a knock for a few games we haven’t the quality to replace them lost goals further down the order unlike Belfast.
After discussions with my mate who really goes to town on his stats, I'm going to downgrade Sato from 20 to 15 goals......apparently the Metsis League isn't as good as I thought.
Surprisingly my mate only has Belfast down for about 210 goals, which is considerably less than last season.
I think I'll be around 220 goals, which is down on last season, but probably quite a few more than any other team.
Let's see what Fox has up his sleeve......hopefully two or three 25 goal scorers.

Giants roster seems complete for now, players needed to be signed early for CHL, Josh Roach has already been announced as starting the season on the injury reserve list as he recovers from his end of season injury, in terms of depth both Garside and Long are more than capable of covering on defence if required so shouldn't be playing to many games short-handed, and of course if Whistle starts backed up by local back up then we can dress the full import quota and can rest Besko and keep him fresh. The last 2 seasons we have had both the best goals for and best goals against so a winning combination at both ends.

Schulze gone to AlpsHL.
Lots of comments on Twitter seemingly very positive on him, but got to be honest, thought he was our worst D last year (except Ackered who was not even close to the player he was at Guildford).
Too lightweight (especially when you look at how Nevalainen handles being small), shocking at clearing the zone under pressure and didn't bring enough offensive quality to make up for those shortcomings.

How and why has a player of that calibre come to the EIHL?
