Myself and my old man currently do the match-night media for the Paisley Pirates in the SNL, and we thought we’d give a go of filming in Ultra-HD 4k. Anyone wanting a peak at what it could be like for when the EIHL adopts it in the future, can do so via the link below:

For those wondering, the raw footage for the whole game nearly chewed up 300Gb and encoding it to a more manageable format took just under 10 hours. A few visual quirks occur over the course of the video, and it will take us some trial and error to find the best format to encode the video for YouTube. Overall though we were very impressed with the general footage, and amazed at the quality remaining virtually the same when zooming in. So we're going to continue filming in 4k going forward.
(P.S. to Mods, there wasn’t a ‘misc’ hockey forum on here that I could see, so hope it was okay to post here!)
