Assuming that the forward announcing tomorrow isn't either of those rumoured, i did a little dig in to players who wear 55 as it isn't particularly a common chosen number although it could mean absolutely naff all if the player coming in already has his preferred number taken..
Chris Dodero, 27 y/o - Played with Vally in Ljubljana and was pretty productive for his first pro season.

Think i'm just more hopeful to see something on a stat page as the two rumoured do not fill me with much confidence about our top 6 at all..

As bottom 6 options, both look ok. I seriously doubt either would be signed as top line players.
If they are I'd be concerned, but my guess is if both are signed they are being pencilled in as 3rd liners.

Juusola is a really odd one.
Had we signed him at the start of last season he'd be considered a top line signing. Straight from the top Finnish league and 3rd top goal scorer on his team.
What happened last season?.....0 goals from over 30 games is a serious drop off.
In a season he's gone from a possible 'wow' signing to a 'meh'.
If we have signed him, I'll be very interested to hear the explanation from Fox as to why he's dropped off so badly.
Regards

They won’t excite you mate you get what you pay for, we couldn’t even manage to secure the signature of an ageing David Morley after 7 seasons in Norway, a league that pays less than our own, what chance do we have of getting up coming players with good resumes from ECHL.paul johnston wrote: ↑Wed Jul 19, 2023 8:27 pmNone of these recent forward rumours excite me at all.
IMO the old excuse from Club representatives that these kind of players don’t want to come to the EIHL is a moot point considering both Belfast and Cardiff recruit good players from this League. We’ve managed to sign an average stat player who happened also to be injured last season, on the cheap. How far we’ve fallen.
When was the last time we signed a point per game player direct from North America?

Morley might be 32 but he scored at roughly 1.5 PPG last year in Norway and has always been above 1 PPG in each of his seasons there. He isn't going to be cheapHouse_of_Steel wrote: ↑Sun Jul 23, 2023 11:27 amThey won’t excite you mate you get what you pay for, we couldn’t even manage to secure the signature of an ageing David Morley after 7 seasons in Norway, a league that pays less than our own, what chance do we have of getting up coming players with good resumes from ECHL.paul johnston wrote: ↑Wed Jul 19, 2023 8:27 pmNone of these recent forward rumours excite me at all.
