I will applaud at the end of the game IF they make an effort to acknowledge us, if they skate straight to their fans and off I let them go.

I would like away teams (not fans) to not look forward to coming to the arena. Our arena needs to be intimidating for teams to come into.

Perhaps that’s one of the reasons why our home form hasn’t been very good making our arena welcoming.

The videotron idea though here is way off the mark.

You want as many opposition fans as possible, you take their ticket money and hopefully the two points as well, discouraging them from attending just hurts you financially and exposes your own fans to similar hostile treatment when they travel to away games. Besides more fans makes for a better atmosphere. No fan should ever be discouraged from attending a game because they fear abuse and ridicule especially when it comes from an official representative of the club.

I would think the same if it was the other way round and I think this is the idea. Unfortunately not everyone will be in the same mindset. It’s just a matter of time before it ends badly.

I find the booing of the away fans on the big screen offensive.
Booing the away team OK, but zooming in on people and encouraging the crowd to boo is offensive.
No doubt from the same clown that puts together the music playlist.
Hopefully Leeds will join the EIHL and he'll defect.

Quite simply this is not in the spirit of ice hockey. I would have thought any real fan would appreciate that.
