This is an interesting point.

Considering we're a team that relies on speed/pace, and that performances tend to decline as the season progresses, could it be that the players are simply exhausted from playing a long season in a system focused on high intensity play?

Sorry for the football analogy but Klopp's teams have suffered from this in the past, it's almost impossible to play a high press (gegenpress) style of football for an entire season...

We're also quite an old team relative to the rest.

It could be a combination of things, but the energy levels do appear to be dropping (again).

If that's correct, then I'd suggest the problem is a more serious issue. The situation would be that an assembled team of this style would be highly unlikely to be successful in the EIHL, and that falls firmly at the feet of coach Fox.

Let's hope that this is a blip and not a repeat of last season.

P.S. the consistent slow starts also needs addressing as it seems to be coming the norm.

No post game interview with Fox? Bet there would have been if we had won.

I would have been very interested to hear his thoughts. Cause we played well for 20 mins.
