Not sure I'd have expected a Guildford game to be sold out but at £8 a ticket it's certainly done the trick, plus a very important game as well.
Well done everyone!

It is a brilliant effort indeed. 2 x official sell outs in one season is fantastic.mark wrote: ↑Tue Jan 10, 2023 5:24 pmGreat effort, as I posted before Xmas this is so important, this momentum. You and I both know it's nothing like as good when half empty, they can make up much of the difference from discount tickets with 50/50 and SOYB sales, a little like Manchester used to do in the MEN Arena when the team was owned by the Arena owners and used the secondary spend to compensate for low ticket prices.Doom wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 12:26 pmA great effort by all involved and it certainly adds to the match night experience.
My friend who lives in York brought his family down to watch the game against Manchester at Christmas and the kids all loved it.
I've no idea if they paid full price for the tickets, but they went back home with a car full of foam fingers and Steelers caps, which all adds to the clubs coffers.
They're coming down on Saturday again with the kids, so hopefully they'll have another good experience.
I'm sure it wouldn't be the same in a half empty arena.

It’s still brilliant to hear that there’s a pull for new fans and especially the kids as at the end of the day they’re the new generation of paying fans of the future. I think the club has got the off ice match experience pretty much spot on.Doom wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 12:26 pmA great effort by all involved and it certainly adds to the match night experience.
