So in the post game interview with Pete Spencer Fox was asked about Raska not playing, and would he have to cut a spare import, seems that may need to happen, very much seems to suggest that Raska would be the one to go. Was no mention of Connolly as a possibility.

Who would you all cut from the roster if someone has to be cut? I mean an outskater here, I know many are wondering what the heck is happening with Ostlund.

I am sorry to all those Connolly fans but he would be way out in front of Raska on my list.. love the guy from a couple of seasons ago..

A very difficult call to make. I do understand why people would go for Connolly. He is a shadow of his former self compared to previous seasons.

HOWEVER, I would reward his loyalty to the club and would release Raska instead.

I can still see Connolly coming up with a big moment for us before the season is out.

Hasn't Raska already done that... 12 points from 18 games may not be setting the league alike but I remember a few important goals and he never backs out of the corners or a scuffle...

Connolly as 1 goal and 2 assists... and zero big moments so far..

It was good to watch on the webcast last night, a slightly nervous start confirmed with the Dundee goal but then comfortable enough.

As for Connolly, I think he was more than rewarded by giving him a contract in the first place when unfit and clearly on the decline.

Raska came in and did a good job, I would say he's more deserving of a place now and possibly even to keep for another year.

I can't argue with that, and admit I forgot about that being his only goal, but I really dont think that one goal (not in open play) trumps the goals and points and all around play Raska as offered.. honest question would you use that as a reason to keep him if it was not Connolly ?

No I wouldn’t. I’m keeping him simply because it’s Connolly and I like him. I like Raska too. Can’t we keep em both?

I’m more worried about the goalie situation than whether or not Raska or Connolly has to go.

I'm more concerned about our overall D corps tbh.

4 goals conceded to Dundee at home is a worry.

Some may think I'm out of line here or even out of order but remove Petgrave and replace him with say Daine Todd from last season and we're a far better team overall.
