I don't like criticising the team but tonight that was poor by our standards! All that puck possession around the net but so few chances created. We are becoming very 'Vanilla' We just don't seem to be doing anything different when plan A doesn't work???? All teams need to do is clog-up the neutral zone, get bodies in front of the net and take the gifts when they come! game plan to beat us!

A missed opportunity with the Giants losing at home. The Flames keep rolling though - how long until we consider them genuine title contenders?

We seem to be dominating possession in games, but we're making such hard work of putting teams away.

We've dodged a bullet tonight with Belfast's shock defeat, but I suspect we now have to start looking up at Guildford.

Fox really needs to work out how to turn possession into goals, because we can't keep skating around in the oppositions zone and come away with nothing.

Regards

Fox is better than his predecessors in that he does at least have a plan A, but there is rarely a plan B in evidence, hence we do fall short from time to time,

Guildford playing consistently well and pulling away from the rest, make no mistake, they’re genuine challengers.

Us Cardiff & Belfast are failing to put any runs together and the other sides know we’re beatable.

Plenty of hockey still to be played, not even halfway yet.

Guildford are indeed challengers. Much as I want us to win the Steelers to win the league, I do think it would be healthy for the league and hockey in general to break the Devils, Giants, Steelers trophy stranglehold.

I’ve not seen the game, but I have a worry that we are turning into last season’s team who were poor in the New Year.

Cardiff have beaten us twice at the arena. Could they do the same in the CC again?

I’m struggling to see how Fox keeps his job if we have another tropyless season.

Those days are gone.

As long as we're there or thereabouts all will be well at Steelers HQ.

Sounds cynical I know but this is the impression I get.
