It remains puzzling why Steeler start every home game so lethargically.

Petgrave is good, but cost us the goal and nearly assisted on another with a poor cross ice pass in the neutral zone. More Ben O'connor than Ben himself was.

After that that first five minutes we've done ok. Plenty of rubber on Bowns but no real quality.

There are goals in it for us especially when Batch and Louis on the ice.

I really like the Ciampini Allen Mosey line but need more from latal Raska and Neumann.

I thought it was Scott Allen who caused the Cardiff goal, he poke checked the Puk away from Greenfield straight to the Cardiff forward who scored, Greenfield had it well covered till then..

Not sure how Petgrave got 2 mins for the Connolly incident. He didn’t appear to do much for me. 2 on 1 on Conn’s as well.

I don’t think Cardiff look amazing, but we’re not any better.

Petgrave had the puck on the boards and under pressure threw it out onto the Devils stick.

Soft in our D zone. And toothless generally in attack. A very typical Fox steelers team. Too many forwards largely anonymous. Ciampini and Allen excepted without any end product.

What's everyone's thoughts on Nevalainen because I am far from convinced so far.
