They certainly look stronger than the team which started last season.Morpheous wrote: ↑Sun Jul 10, 2022 9:15 amCardiff Looking stronger than last season IMO.Doom wrote: ↑Sun Jul 10, 2022 8:40 amI believe all that action from last night completed the Cardiff lineup for 2022/23.
I had a quick look on their forum and line suggestions were:
Reid - Martin - Crandall
Cox - Coughler - Sanford
Waller - Penny - Brittain
Duggan - Davies - Brandt
Richie - Jardine
Thompson - Crawford
Batch - Lou
Bowns - Kozun
So can we match/beat that with our lineup?

I would suggest they're slightly weaker in the netminding, stronger in defence and maybe slightly stronger in the forwards.
I think I'd still pick the Belfast team which started last season over this Cardiff team, although the gap is much closer now.
How the Belfast squad looks at the start of the season will probably come down to whether they can retain Conway, because for me he was the difference. A 30 goal faceoff winning Brit centre is rather rare.
I did a quick tally on the Cardiff forwards based on recent performances and came up with 205 goals. I currently have our forwards at around 120 goals so it will be interesting to see where we end up.
Just for the record, that doesn't mean I think the Cardiff forwards will score 205 goals in total, because they won't all play 54 games.
It's good to see Cardiff and Nottingham looking stronger, because we don't want one or two teams running away with it.
