Wasn’t there tonight but sounds like a professional job against a poor side, can’t afford to drop these kind of points so nice job.

Brust with a shutout gets MOM. Although Fife didn’t show too much he did save well, perhaps three or four brilliant efforts.
Probably done more as a confidence booster for him tbh.

Anyone know the final shot count? Cant have been more than 15 for Fife surely. And that’s being generous!

I think Mosey, Sointu or Saxrud Danielsen were in front of Brust for MOM really, maybe a bit of a boost for him to get it, but at least 3 others played better, deluca played a better game to actually..

Netminder will always get MOTM on a shutout.

Certainly at this Club. I dont understand the rationale as he only had to make at the most 4-5 saves against a club with limited firepower/shots on goal on the night. ASD, Shulze, Hodgman, Mosey, Sointu could easily have been justified in being given it.

I thought Brandon had a tremendous game. To come in to a team playing at a higher level, gelling with line mates that not training with, and to do such a fine job was fantastic. Should be playing regular EIHL full 4 line hockey.

Steelers played much better technically than of late. Passes on target, puck control and getting shots on goal quickly.
Fife were fairly poor though as often happens with them and Dundee, they play well at home but seem to have little enthusiasm playing away . Barry was great and made zero errors in what he had to deal with.
It was nice to see the reaction from the team to his shut out., and his premature Eddy when he was supposed to be receiving the ( empty ) box of beer .
A good night for team morale , Saturday may be a bit harder !

Really impressed with the team performance last night.
Agree with all the comments regarding individual performances.
Brandon Whistle really stood out for me, it may have been because I was not expecting too much from him.
My goodness he sure has changed since he last pulled on a Steelers shirt.
Thought he had a good all round game and the face offs he took were a bonus, over 50% success rate.
After that performance I think Cole Shudra and Alex Graham will be looking over their shoulders.
