This is starting to remind me of the peak attendance days where you really needed to buy tickets 2-3 weeks ahead of games and occasionally they built the temporary stand on the open end of the arena , that is where our 10,000+ attendances came from. And of course this is happening at the same time as the football teams are enjoying success , well one of them is anyway..... ;)

Is the temporary seating still available to us? If so it would be great to see it in use again.

I've only ever seen the temporary seating twice. Once for the Benson & Hedges cup final against Newcastle and at a Metallica gig.

The club should be congratulated for the huge effort they have put in to increase the fans through the door. A mixture of free tickets, good marketing and a good team to watch finally is paying off. There were healthy numbers under the PT era, many of us said imagine how many more there would be if there was a good on ice product to watch, well that's starting to show.

Imagine if you were a brand-new fan in the PT days.......I reckon they'd be enjoying it more now! Maybe that was the club's plan all along

I'm not sure that's a trend for the league as a whole though.

That is excellent news and one that everyone at the club should take credit for. The main reason is because of the on ice product, i stopped going when PT was here because the hockey was awful. Under AF, the hockey is much more entertaining and certainly exciting!!

Long may it continue!! :D :D
