Well done to the panthers on managing to lose a competition that pretty well every other team in the eihl would have won.

I doubt that Steve. Can't see the likes of Dundee or Fife (no disrespect meant of course) making the Super Final never mind winning it.

Even then they would have to qualify for the group stages first.

Seems a bit harsh. Never easy to win in a european rink with european refereeing, as we have found out many times.
Personally I'd like the Panthers to lose every game in the Elite League, but if a British Team is playing a non british team then my allegiance is with our league's representative. Lots of football fans dislike , say , Liverpool , but will cheer them on to Champions League glory.

It was done tongue in cheek as our friends down the road would I'm sure have done to us.having said that I did watch the biggest part of all the panthers games and I do believe at least half of the eihl teams would have won that cup.

I agree, the opposition wasn't all that great. Now the Champions league is established it seems this competition is attracting a much lower standard of teams. Didn't we play Red Bull Saltzburg in this cup a few years ago ?

It was the 09/10 season we reached the super final. The teams we played were Grenoble, Red Bull Salzburg and Yunost Minsk. Think we beat Grenoble in the opening game but lost to Salzburg and Minsk. I remember the refereeing in the game against Salzburg left a lot to be desired!
