Coventry have re-signed versatile 5”11” Scotsman Alex Forbes.

The 25 year old can operate up front or on D and iced 40 EIHL games last season scoring 6 points.

Overall he’s played 237 EIHL games for Milton Keynes & Coventry.

Dundee have signed 5”10 English forward Mac Howlett.

The 22 year old iced in Guildford last year accruing 8 points in 66 EIHL games.

Overall he’s played 205 EIHL games for Glasgow, Coventry & Guildford.

He’s played in Finland at junior level and also played in Germany in the Covid year.

He represented GB at both U18 & U20 level.

Glasgow have announced the addition of 5”9” Scottish centreman Jordan Cownie.

The 26 year old played in Guildford last season scoring 39 points in 68 appearances.

Overall in the EIHL he’s scored 133 points in 257 appearances for Nottingham, Glasgow (then Braehead), Dundee & Guildford.

He’s represented GB at U18 & U20 level.

Much sought-after Dundee forward Charlie Combs has joined Danish MetalLigaen side SønderjyskE.

The diminutive 5”6” forward was a 1st year pro when he hit 79 points in 66 EIHL appearances.

Dundee have announced the return of 6”0” Latvian-born but Brit eligible forward Toms Rutkis.

The 24 year old winger iced 48 times for Dundee last season scoring 9 points.

Overall he’s played 158 times at EIHL level for Cardiff, Coventry & Dundee.

He’s also spent time with 2nd tier Swindon.

Belfast have announced the return of 5”11 GB international forward Ben Lake.

The 32 year old, who is an import under EIHL regulations, scored 51 points last season in the way to a league & cup double.

In his EIHL career he’s scored 218 points in 262 appearances for Coventry, Belfast & Manchester. He was named in the EIHL 1st All-Star lineup in Coventry.

He’d previously iced 2 years in the ECHL with the now defunct Alaska Aces as well as winning a cup in the Covid year with the Sheffield Steeldogs.

I fall out with the fact he's an import but yet plays for GB....doesn't make sense to me at all, ridiculous rule.

Would have liked him at Sheffield - plays all situations well and looks hard to play against every night

Glasgow have signed veteran 6”0” Canadian centreman Stephen Dixon.

The vastly experienced 36 year old was drafted 7th Rd 229th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2003.

He’s iced 195 EIHL games for Cardiff where he’s built a reputation as one of the top face-off men in the division.

He’s played 280 times in the AHL for the WBS Penguins & Portland Pirates.

130 SHL games for Brynäs IF & Luleå HF.

277 Finnish Liiga games for Porin Ässät & Tappara Tampere.

107 KHL games for Amur Khabarovsk, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl & Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk.

And 91 games for German DEL outfit Grizzlys Wolfsburg.

The 23 year old played 49 games for Dundee last season scoring 9 points as alternate-captain.

Overall he’s amassed 236 EIHL appearances, all for Dundee.
