Awesome result! I called us to win before it started but that was a monumental effort.
Cannot believe how long it has been since I saw us win a Challenge Cup and it's great to get that one back.
Well done Captain Jonno!

Not able to watch the game, but very happy with the result. Well done to all involved. Who would have thought 12 months ago we could be lifting silverware?

We possibly weren't the best team , but some excellent forward skill , determination and character won that final. What an amazing difference to the last few seasons where we used to go behind and give up.
Connelly and Davis were immense tonight when it really mattered. We were like a punch drunk boxer on the ropes in the second but we came back and at the end it was Cardiff who were making mistakes in defence.
Loved Armstrong's tactic at the face off with 4 seconds left, fall on the puck for three seconds, get the penalty but by then there was no time left for Cardiff. Although how we got a face off there when a Cardiff player knocked off Duba's helmet because we were in a position to score an ENG I will never know.
Well done to everyone, Silverware in Foxies first season ! Awesome.

The grin on Armstrongs face as he was skating to the box was qualityBrian wrote: βSun Mar 08, 2020 11:18 pmWe possibly weren't the best team , but some excellent forward skill , determination and character won that final. The best team on the day didnβt win that game, but the most clinical team did. We took our chances on almost half the number of shots.Brian wrote: βSun Mar 08, 2020 11:18 pmWe possibly weren't the best team , but some excellent forward skill , determination and character won that final. The face off after Dubaβs helmet was knocked off should have been outside our zone. I think thatβs what Fox was going crazy at, at the end. I donβt think that was his celebration as mentioned in other posts.

Absolutely. The face-off should have been in neutral ice. No wonder Fox was going nuts..smbmetal wrote: βMon Mar 09, 2020 8:40 amThe best team on the day didnβt win that game, but the most clinical team did.
