I wouldn't worry about signing Dowd, Jono, Davey, Jones, McClaughlin and Warburton - especially as we could still see Whistle, Graham and Shudra back as well.

Dowd is an elite level British forward - of which from last season I would include him and Conway.

Jones is a young fast developing d-man who was one of the better British dmen in the EIHL last season and performed well in the worlds.

Davey and Jono are consistent and experienced within the league and our club.

And the 2 young goalies are only going to improve with increased ice time between us and Hull.

If we sign the young Brits again I would say overall that's a s good as any team could get (realistically) you may swap a player here and there with personal preference but we've got a top 6 forward, a PK machine and leader, 2 steady d-men and 2 young goalies minimum - without exceeding the wage cap and signing a Conway, Richardson and Bowns etc. I don't think we can expect much more.

Obviously would be good to get a Perlini, Hammond, J Whistle etc. but I expect the first 2 to be in Europe and J Whistle probably back with Belfast.

Farrera going to the Panthers? that's a step down in my opinion! A season there and his chances of securing a permanent GB slot will be gone!
Belfast, Cardiff or back to us would be a progression in his career.
