To be fair, for how many years have we been wanting a league where anyone can beat anyone on any given night? We've wanted it for years, we've now got it & folk are moaning that we shouldn't be losing to them!

Gone are the days when we roll into Dundee & Fife & score 6,7,8 goals.

I hate losing I can't stand it but I'll give Dundee & Fife credit, they came at us hard & won, got the 2 points, onto Belfast where you watch....we will do the business, just my opinion but it will be a split weekend. We'll win on Friday but Belfast will edge it on Saturday.

Well played to Dundee tonight, the better team over the weekend won, still a long way to go in this league fight & I can't imagine out boys will give up.
A good alternative view point.

You are of course quite correct that the days of Fife and Dundee rolling over are gone and the league is much better for it.

My issue is the team's overall performance in these games. I've no issues in losing to any team if I see the effort and in fact the recent League game that we lost to Cardiff I enjoyed and thought we were unlucky and put in a decent performance.

We've not been unlucky in the Fife and Dundee games though, we haven't been anywhere near good enough. Play to our normal strengths and neither Fife or Dundee would be beating us no matter how well they played.

I hope you are right about a split weekend in Belfast. Perhaps we might be able to find the extra needed. If we don't and play like we have for all of 2022 we will lose handsomely.

I have been saying for a while now, our early season fixture list made us look better than what we were. Plenty of games against Fife, Guildford and Coventry etc that we were winning.

Now we aren't winning these games, it's causing us huge problems for our title ambitions.

Without Vallerand, we don't seem confident as a team in getting results. Goals are few and far between. I'm not sure when the last time 1 player made this much of a difference to a side.

Belfast are the best team in the league, it is plain for anyone to see.

If we aren't good enough to win the league, then so be it. I've no issues with that. I've always said win, lose or draw, just give a good account of ourselves. The effort is 100% there from the players, but unfortunately we're just coming up short.

If we have Vallerand back next weekend, we have a small chance of getting some good results. However, without him I think we'll be looking at a 0 point weekend.
