How many times must we snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?
The game was a replay of the Fife game, 20mins of great play, I know we weren't 3-0 up but we were taking chances, keeping it simple effective, finishing hits and not backing down.
Then were revert the usual format 90% non contact hockey with blind passes to slots where over committed D'men should be and it all comes undone once again.
How many times has that happened this year & cost us games?
Answers on a postcard to Mr T Smith c/o The Utilita Arena.

how often have we described the game through three periods in that way?
I do think we have an identity-its the think we are the bees kness razzmatazz club off ice-there is no on ice STEELERS CHARACTER anyore though

The powerplay at the end of the game came from a massive call from the on ice officials that plain and simple got it wrong by calling a non existent trip by Danny Kristo, the replay very clearly showed Danny dive full lenth and clear the puck with his stick and a blatant dive from the Coventry player with absolutely no contact at all with the stick or Danny to fool the official..
There was no call to make apart from maybe a diving call from the officials for a blatant attempt to get a penalty!
Now if thats not a poor decision I dont know what is....

I didn’t like a number of the calls/non calls tonight. I think Halbert in particular gets away with some dubious challenges. I thought the same the last time we played them at home.
When Kristo dived in to block the shot at the end it seemed particularly harsh. I’ll wait to see it on the highlights as I didn’t get a good view in the game.
Having said that we did gift them a couple of opportunities and was disappointed by our performance in the 2nd half of that game.

I enjoyed the first period, but then it was "business as usual". I just don 't get it, Fox seems to be hammering nails in his own coffin here. Looked to be an atrocious tripping call from where I was but, even so, we should have had the game wrapped up by then. Overall, very disappointing
Totally agree, we lost that game in the first 5 minutes of the third.jas wrote:…Looked to be an atrocious tripping call from where I was but, even so, we should have had the game wrapped up by then. Overall, very disappointing
