Bob alluding in the Star other Centres arriving at the club that are more versatile than last season could be more of an hint towards Olsen.

Could just be referring to Simpson and Watling though, since we re-signed Whistle and Allen/Neumann.

However, Olsen does look like he ticks the boxes of clues

Oh absolutely - and this one is frustrating as we've had a few small clues but not anything that helps greatly - there's the BC thing but it didn't explicitly state the new guy is from BC. The "fascinating" career clue. And that they are "experienced" - which probably rules out anyone under 27, but still a barn door in terms of possibilities! Also doesn't help that EP doesn't always get exact forward positions correct, or doesn't list that also can play wing/centre

Me and my lad think it’s Olson too, also didn’t Westerdale mention it was fascinating, being up on an assault charge in the past could well tick that box too.

Yeh he was ordered to pay $34000. I think it was 6 years ago. I would put it down to been young and irresponsible!

Try and keep excitement/engagement up. A little bit of not wanting to show hand too early as well, but that's pretty much only earlier on in the summer. At this point it's not relevant.

But stringing it out, along with the associated content (The Star, Pete Spencer interviews) I suspect generates more clicks on the various sites - for the star that will mean more add revenue, for Steelers it keeps people interested and for Pete, I imagine more clicks helps him out in his other work on the BBC.

Essentially it's why online headlines are often sensational and not totally in line with the actual article itself - clicks =money

Definitely class as fascinating! He'd have been 23 so like you say - youth may have played a factor!

I’ve deduced him from them clues you’ve stated plus a poster on social media that goes a little further in depth it would make him as you say very likely.

It says from a similar part of Canada as Brandon Whistle, so somewhere near Kelowna, BC. Olsen played for Rockets, so I wouldn't be shocked.
