Agreed. At the end of the second we are 5-0 down. We have been poor all evening all across the ice. Nobody seems to be playing well. I wouldn’t want to be the judge of the man of the match for Steelers at the end unless there is some amazing miracle. This team is not a shadow of the one that played in the CHL. Why? Does Fox have any idea?Doom wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2024 8:07 pmThis is getting embarrassing and we don't seem to have a clue how to turn things around.
I was going to say I've never seen a team fall from such great heights so quickly, but we appear to be mirroring Man City.
The league title is already gone, the question now is can we even make the playoff weekend?

Wow, just come back from a Christmas family meal.
Whilst I thought we’d lose this one I didn’t expect it to be 5-0!
With this being our only game of the weekend I expected we’d be playing much better than we are.
This isn’t acceptable from the team and surely the returnees which there are many, should know better here?
Was the CHL the only competition they were interested in?

In the end an easy decision for MoM Golod scored a very neatly taken goal to make the only redeeming feature of a truly terrible evening. I struggle to find anything else positive to say.
I’ve just thought of something positive. Our backup Jere kept a clean sheet.

There’s absolutely no creativity in any zone. In defensive we drop pucks and lose passes, in neutral we don’t seem to do owt other than dump the puck, and when we do get a break away instead of a pass we seem to hit it direct at the goal tender.
The positives… Huhtamaa got a shut out and made some great saves, and Golod was easily the best player on the ice, that was a great signing.
Last season our MO was battling in the corners to cause an opportunity, but it seems that the rest have caught on.
