. Add a healthy dose of 'but it's just my free speech etc' mindset and you've got a set of idiots with no empathy.
Ahh that old chestnut again, Speech may be free but it not immune from the consequences of such, start shouting FIRE for a bit of "fun" in a crowded indoor place resulting in injury or death to people fleeing in panic and you will find yourself answering to the law, on the cesspit that is Elon's twitter you'll just find yourself blocked and shamed for your ignorance. It caused controversy when I said it years ago but it is still the case there is no free speech on this or any other forum, it has rules which you agree to when becoming a member and the very existence of this and other forums like The Cage is only possible because it is funded out of someone's pocket, for Steeltalk that has been either mine or Jay's pocket for many many years, never asking for a penny from the users and blocking all forms of advertising, certainly not FREE and we have the bills to prove it. Which is why forum owners have the right to say to someone that so and so is not acceptable.
In the case of that "panthers" fan she's not only received an absolute barrage of criticism and public shaming she has opened herself up to potential prosecution, her comments do not represent the feelings of the vast majority of Panther fans. As for the interview by Aaron Fox, it shows the true character of the man, attitudes like his should be an example of how to react to events like this, he's done himself, this club and the sport a massive credit.
Put it this way, he could probably walk into the Panthers dressing room after a game and get a genuine warm reception because of what he has said and done, I'm struggling to think of anyone else through the history of our club who could do that.
