Stars v Steelers: Sat Dec 2nd : GAME THREAD : LEAGUE

Not watched the game, but pleased with result, especially with Cardiff losing.
Just looking at the score and game sheet it looks like an exhibition game. I thought Dundee had recruited some nastiness? Not one penalty called against them.
I’ll keep my £16 in my pocket I think.
Hope we’ve got plenty of energy left for Belfast tomorrow.

With regards to the lack of Stars penalties, the refs generally kept their whistles in the pocket, were a few that should have been called on the Stars for definite and Juusola too. Was a big high stick on Neumann that they just ignored. Their D men Mackay, Allen and another whose name escapes me were a bit nasty in the d zone on us and we just took it. We do need to give back physically more than we are currently.smbmetal wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2023 9:32 pmNot watched the game, but pleased with result, especially with Cardiff losing.

Always happy to take a road win, although disappointing to concede 4 in the 3rd, but maybe we were already thinking of the Giants game at that point.
Pleased to see young Shudra on the scoresheet, he's having a very good few weeks and really proving his worth to this team.
The big one tonight, because for me a win in this one probably takes the Giants out of the title race.
Regards

Good game, first 10 minutes we were unplayable. The most dominant passage of hockey I've seen us play in a long time.
Got in to a hit of a track meet after that but we'd done enough damage to see it through.
My first look at Cormier and was very impressed.
