WE absolutely stink at the moment I have bought tickets for the next 5 home games for me and my son and to be honest I feel like I have waisted my money.
If I performed at work as the Steelers players are I would have been fired by now. We don't need to win every time but we need to see effort we want to see value for money. Money is tight these days and this is not the way to encourage people to attend.
What happens now!

I think the hockey we are playing is very bland. That's not to say all the players are bland, but I feel the coaching style is. I think we have a reasonable mix of players and have shown we can compete with the best. It definitely is not showing at the moment though and that for me is a coaching problem

There's issues top to bottom at the moment, apart from goaltending.
D - poor transition (Cormier the exception), poor decision in own zone, poor decisions on jumping in to play, and awful coverage from all 5 skaters in the zone.
F - can't bury chances (Balmas the exception), not taking good shots and looking for extra passes because of the first point. Poor in all 3 zones generally.
Now, some of this is coaching, and some of this is fully on players. A coach can't make the decisions with the puck on the ice, so a lot of this is on players. However, there's a valid point that the coach needs to try and adapt when things are not working. Been a bit slow to do so at times, and maybe lines have been changed to quickly, but that is at least proactive from Fox.
Recruitment is always looked at in hindsight, but at the start of the year, vast majority of predictions from around the league had us in the top 3, and most top 2 with not much to choose between 3/4 teams. Recruitment isn't an exact science and is occasionally, not going to work out. Harper, for example, was also wanted by Cardiff so it's not like we were shopping for players who no one else thought was good enough.
I'm not sure what has happened for a complete collapse to occur. It happens. It's frustrating, and it's not great, but honestly the first period on Friday was actually really good - looked like 2 good teams going at it but there's just zero confidence in most of the players. As soon as it went to 2-1 it was all over because you could see the players deflate.
We are still in 2 competitions. Win either and it's a somewhat salvaged season, but it might be that a different voice is needed in the room. I would sincerely hope Fox stays in a GM type role - he's shown multiple times he's a top quality human, and I think could provide an excellent resource/backing to whoever does come in. Personally if we do opt for a coaching change at the end of the season, I'd be looking at Cam Critchlow - young, played in the league recently and is doing a cracking job with Manchester. Doubt Storm would want to lose him but if we want any rebuild to be as quick as possible, it's probably only going to come from someone currently in the league
