Looking at the number of penalties it’s looking like another bad tempered encounter.

It wouldn’t say it was really. Certainly not on the scale of last night. I think the stripeys set the bar far too low to start with and got caught out having to award a lot of marginal penalties. I couldn’t really see what gave rise the the 5 plus game on Blaze. Our player certainly went down as if pole axed. I think it was a high stick in the face when he was already bending down. Perhaps someone else ad a better view.

Does anyone know why we are only icing 19 players in Coventry ? Or have the rules changed this season?

Steelers only iced 19 yesterday. Ulrich not being called up & Miceli rested as 15 imports already on game sheet. With Dowd suspended an additional ‘Brit’ needed to ensure we can rotate 4 lines. (Another forward dropping in)

Flames only iced 18 yesterday as 2 imports injured.
