Cardiff have announced an affiliate partnership with NIHL National side Bristol Pitbulls. The Pitbulls are new to the top tier NIHL for 22/23 which represents their highest placing since formation in 2009.
They are coached by former 5 year Cardiff assistant coach Jamie Elson.

Cardiff have signed 21 year old English defenceman Ed Bradley on a 2-way deal with the Bristol Pitbulls.
He iced last season in the NIHL with Bees IHC as well as a single EIHL appearance for Coventry.
A product of the Guildford system, he’s iced for GB at U18 & U20 level.

Coventry netminder CJ Motte has departed to join AHL side Iowa Wild on a 1 year deal.
The 30 year old is regarded a top-tier EIHL netminder and attained .911% in 51 league games in a poor Coventry side.

Cardiff announce the re-signing of 26 year old Canadian centreman Jake Coughler.
The 6”1” forward defied his relatively average pro CV by hitting 26 goals in 40 games as a mid-season addition. He helped bring the playoff title to Cardiff.
His previous pro experience is in the Slovakian Extraliga with HK Dukla Trenčín.
In the ECHL with the Orlando Solar Bears.
And in the Danish MetalLigaen with Paul Thompson’s Odense Bulldogs.

Cardiff have unsurprisingly re-signed 35 year old veteran captain Mark Richardson. Not much to say really, as dependable as they come and keeps everything nice and simple. Quality player.

Cardiff have announced the return of 23 year old English forward Sam Duggan. The 6”2” winger scored 15 points in 64 games in a playoff title season. He did fall out of favour from former head coach Jarrod Skalde.
