The 24 year old Englishman iced 246 times for Nottingham, winning the Elite Series.

Big loss for Panthers but great move for Josh not just to develop as a player and experience hockey overseas but also to live abroad. Hope he goes well and enjoys it.

Nottingham have announced that 43 year old American Gary Graham will take over as Head Coach.

He is most recently of USHL junior side the Omaha Lancers.

The main body of his experience is in the ECHL with the Fort Wayne Komets where he served in various capacities including Head Coach over 9 years.

He also spent one season in the VHL with ORG Beijing, the affiliate to the KHL’s Kunlun Red Star.

Manchester netminder James Downie, who spend the back-end of last season on loan in Nottingham, has signed for Australian side Newcastle Northstars for the summer.

The 22 year old has dual Australian citizenship despite being born in Blackburn, Lancashire.

Tough Cardiff forward Brandon McNally has signed in Australia for the CBR Brave of Canberra.

McNally is an Italian international through dual-citizenship as an Italian-American. He’s currently on duty in Finland for the World Championship’s where he has 2 assists in 2 games.

He’ll link up in the AIHL after Italy’s elimination.

Cardiff announce the appointment of 35 year old former NHL forward Brodie Dupont.

The Canadian iced 31 times for the club in 21/22 in a player-assistant coach role before taking to the bench after long term injury. He was made interim along with Neil Francis after the sacking of Jarrod Skalde, leading the club to the playoff title.

Dundee forward Gabriel Desjardins has left the club to sign with Danish MetalLigaen side SønderjyskE.

The 29 year old Canadian winger iced 63 times in Dundee scoring 48 points.

Guildford defenceman Jamal Watson has left the club to sign with Austrian ICEHL side HC Innsbruck.

The 27 year old Canadian scored 60 points in 68 EIHL appearances on his way to making the league’s first all-star lineup.

Guildford have announced a triple re-signing of import defencemen.

Gritty 26 year old Canadian Kyle Locke is back. The 6”1” 210lb D man was a key blue liner and offers physicality and work ethic. He iced 68 games scoring 16 points.

5”8” Canadian Alex Yuill also returns. The 26 year old also iced 68 times, he scored 18 points.

The final returnee is mid-season addition Mike Crocock. The 28 year old Canadian is the only of the three with prior pro experience before EIHL, in the ECHL with the Newfoundland Growlers and Reading Royals & Swedish HockeyEttan for Tranås AIF. He played 36 times scoring 8 points.
