Was completed on time, not sure what the delay was as he’s not played since Belfast’s last game of 19/20.smbmetal wrote:After transfer deadline day? Seems a long wait for an announcement.

Patrick Mullen, who Belfast added on deadline day to add depth to their D, will no longer be joining the club after a change in personal circumstances.
Staggeringly, Belfast will finish the year with the roster that was signed in the summer. Excellent recruiting and work by medical staff there.

Didn't sound promising for him coming a while ago according to Belfast fans.SteelerBlade wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 1:18 pmPatrick Mullen, who Belfast added on deadline day to add depth to their D, will no longer be joining the club after a change in personal circumstances.

They definitely have been consistent all year and their lack of injuries has certainly helped that. Would've been interesting to see our season with no / significantly less long term injuries. Obviously Oleksuk left but since we've lost Connolly, DeLuca, Todd, ASD, Vally, Eberle and Brust for significant amounts of time or season ending circumstances. Still to be in the title hunt with 4 games left is a great achievement and hopefully we can keep our latest run of form going and lift the title at the end of it.

Whatever the end result, we definitely don’t need to take a sledgehammer to our side as we’ll be a few points off at most.JoeySlats#13 wrote:Didn't sound promising for him coming a while ago according to Belfast fans.SteelerBlade wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 1:18 pmPatrick Mullen, who Belfast added on deadline day to add depth to their D, will no longer be joining the club after a change in personal circumstances.

I agree, but maybe a crowbar is more needed.. I personally feel the main issue is our defence and a couple of under performing forwards that lack defending instincts..SteelerBlade wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 2:32 pmWhatever the end result, we definitely don’t need to take a sledgehammer to our side as we’ll be a few points off at most.JoeySlats#13 wrote:Didn't sound promising for him coming a while ago according to Belfast fans.SteelerBlade wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 1:18 pmPatrick Mullen, who Belfast added on deadline day to add depth to their D, will no longer be joining the club after a change in personal circumstances.

https://www.cardiffdevils.com/news/devi ... od-skalde/The Cardiff Devils have parted ways with Jarrod Skalde.
Skalde joined the Devils ahead of the 2020-21 season that was eventually called off and made his coaching debut at the start of the 2021-22 campaign. He led the team to the Challenge Cup Final this season.
“I would like to thank Jarrod for his contributions to our team over the past season and during the year we missed because of Covid,” said Managing Director Todd Kelman. “The Devils organisation has great respect for Jarrod and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours."
Assistant Coaches Brodie Dupont and Neil Francis will take over the coaching reigns for the remainder of the season.
