A bad day at the office for me. Something like this was always going to happen at some point. I rather suspect that most of the team are ill and just didn't have anything in the tank at all.

There have been so many positives this season I can't really be down on them after this.

Have read a comment about if we win the league it will be with the highest Goals Against but we seem have a massive Goals For, so maybe these things cancel each other out eh?

Hope the lads had a good rest and get a result tonight.

Very disappointing, we were second best in all areas tonight. I don't expect us to win every game but it really hurts when it's that lot from down the road. Herr and Matherson are never off the ice for Panthers would love to know how many minutes the play per game. Although they were rubbish tonight as always I clapped my team off and started looking forward to the next game.

Worst performance of the season,we know there are going to be off days but these should be away games not in front of 8600 home fans. Also as we’ve seen before ramping the volume control up to deafening levels doesn’t help and I think Simms clone is actually getting worse than him,he gabbles on too fast and you can’t tell a word he says.
I totally agree. Dows ego is certainly turning his volume up. What was all that about when Duba was having his skate malfunction sorted. Those round me were all grimacing. And then Sweet Caroline. Oh dear. Not a good night for the team or the commentating team. Hopefully it was just a brain **** and we not be the norm.

The main aim for this season was to close the gap on Belfast and Cardiff which has been achieved. It's only the success of that, that has seen a new expectation of winning the league this term.

The nature of hockey is that teams will have nights like this; unfortunately we usually have ours at home, against one of our rivals, in front of a big crowd.

We've had so much disruption, initially through self inflicted suspensions and then through a succession of injuries that to be leading the league now is a big achievement. Forget about this game now and move on.

I think losing to the panthers does at times create an over reaction.we had a poor night and if as been muted there is illness in camp that would go someway to explaining last nights performance. If that is the case I think tonight could also be a problem and the 2 week break could do us a favour. This is not taking anything from the panthers who were excellent last night. I have said before a trophy for me would be a bonus this year we are ahead of schedule on the rebuild and if it's not meant to be it won't be from lack of effort.

Call it what you will, an off day, bad day at the office or any other cliche you care to think up, we got soundly beaten by a well drilled organised team who played well for a full 60.
Nottingham have show the rest of the league that we can be beaten and then some.
I’m sure Coach will rectify this ‘blip’ and a win on Sunday will help but it’s just made the run in a little more interesting for sure.
