It might be compulsory to wear masks in their arena but that last face off shot shows dozens of Cardiff fans not wearing them.
But well done Steelers. A game well played and well won. Dominant for most of that game. Only goals scored by Devils were with one or more man advantage.

Excellent result. I do think Fox needs to get them thinking more about game management. 4-0 up and we give away penalties entirely unnecessarily. It is a bit of a weakness. If ever we get everyone fit we will be some team!

Some of the d zone play was horrendous for most of that game, and along with lazy stupid penalties by senior pros especially late on could easily have cost us the game.
For me it was the drive of the Eberle line, and the skating and skill of the Czech line that Dragged us over the line.
A much better showing than in our home game, although to be fair that was easy to do.
Still lots to work on but how can they when they continue to have to patch up the team barely being able to play three line hockey.

A fantastic effort by a beat up team.
I didn't watch the game, but my mate said it was thoroughly deserved as we were on top for the majority.
Faceoffs are a worry still, although it doesn't help having Hodman out.
We now need to follow this up tomorrow.

That is true. And Armstrong's win at the end probably the most crucial one of the nightpaul johnston wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 10:02 pmThere was one shift in the offensive zone where he one three in a row in quick succession. Must have been his only wins!!

Some of the FOs he took were technical Cardiff wins on the first touch but he won the overall stick battle, so that isn’t accounted for in the stats.
