Tonight’s loss means we take on the Fife Flyers over two-legs in the Quarter Finals.
Had we won, the Coventry Blaze would’ve been our opponents.

I noticed that. May be cautionary, given the nature of the fixture. Hopefully nothing serious.
Pleased for Graham and Warburton.

Considering the number of players missing I had very low expectations last night, but I quite enjoyed the game and thought those who did play put in a very good shift.
Probably the best result for us avoiding Coventry, because we always seem to struggle with them.
The injuries are obviously a huge negative, but the performance of Alex Graham was a positive for the future. He's a big lad and if he can improve his mobility as he gets older, he could develop into a Lobby type player.

I found that tge most enjoyable game of hockey as a a game all season.
There was a bit of a lull in the second period but it picked up. Good hockey from both sides

His mobility, or current lack of, is the biggest issue with Alex currently. If he can improve that, then he will definitely have a chance of being an impact player. The Lobby type player comparison is spot on.Doom wrote: ↑Sun Nov 28, 2021 8:01 amConsidering the number of players missing I had very low expectations last night, but I quite enjoyed the game and thought those who did play put in a very good shift.
