2nd best in all areas of play against a team that looks vastly superior. Nothing we did well when we beat them are we doing tonight.

0-5 flatters us and we should be much further behind.

Best moment so far was Bazza offering Carruth to go centre ice then challenging the Cardiff bench, there was no takers.

Ellerby will get 2 games for the hit to the head but we needed to run somebody to get something going. But there’s no signs of life tonight.

Elder y game pen for check to head that looked nasty.
Was a bad check and deserved the penalty but where was the fight he took a further 5 min for?

Carruth’s having a very good game and nothing’s working for us but we don’t look good at all.

At least a game ban for Ellerby. Poor choice of hit that.

Connolly was lucky he didn’t receive a penalty as well.

Barry offering Cardiff bench out was the only highlight for me.

An absolute shocker tonight, we're struggling all over the ice.

Poor puck control, bad passing and bad decision making.

Cardiff have played well, they've worked hard all over the ice and just waited for us to make mistakes, which we've done numerous times.

We're really missing Vally because he brings balance and quality to our forward play.

We've had chances, but when things aren't going your way the bounces also go against you.

We need to regroup after this.....it's a long season and there will be many ups and downs.

Regards

I very much doubt it, we are a good metre behind every play, can't pass for stink and look about as interested as the Chinese did at COP26. At this point, I will settle for a Barry moment, preferably him sticking a Cardiff player on his arse..

Nothing clicking for us tonight. 2nd to every puck, being out muscled when in possession and sloppy passing adding to our woes. Draw a line under it and move on. This game has gone. Give them the moment in the spotlight & come back harder next time.

And the Rok is back between the pipes, the only one to show a bit of Steelers grit, I hope it's not an injury

Tonight shows the problem with a fox team. When the sexy hockey isn't working is there a plan b or the grit, physicality and toughness to get us back into it. Nope.

You would have thought that after the first period break and the coaches words ringing in their ears that they would have come out all guns blazing.

Nah still as flat as a coke from weatherspoons.

What happens when you take away your characters from the game...

Vial
Allison
Fitzgerald

NONE of them would have accepted this & stood up at 3-0 down.
