Forum Changes and ongoing work

You are correct my window 10 crashed with no warning a month ago luckily I had backed up the day before so no big problem I was lucky.

You are correct my window 10 crashed with no warning a month ago luckily I had backed up the day before so no big problem I was lucky.

Just to clarify, we to use a back up and always backup before any update, but that was a complete waste of time in this case because it then refused to restore correctly from that backup!! which by its very nature meant we lost everything as it was trying to restore from a corrupt file...

Another unfortunate problems is all the bespoke work I then do in the back end was backed up on my computer and has helped a great deal but is not completely compatible with the new software etc...

So begins the extra work on the .css .html, .php files etc, then all the colours and images...

Tapatalk has now released a compatible plugin for this version of phpBB , I have installed it and it appears to be working OK. If you get a message about an invalid forum ID you need to remove the Steeltalk group from the app and immediately re-add it as your device is using a cached copy of the previous forum version.

Tapatalk doesn't seem to be working as it should , have checked with support and there are a lot of similar complaints , this version is only a BETA so we are still awaiting a stable release.
