Same for us. It’s a poor show really. It’s the 3rd game with this sort of disruption.

1st period we really struggled to get anything going, but credit to Coventry who got sticks and bodies in the way and broke out of defence really quickly.

2nd period looked like a 19 minute powerplay to us and we fully deserved our lead.

3rd was closer, but I still thought we edged it.

Hewitt is a funny one. I thought he should have retired/left us a year or two before he did, but having watched him for the Dogs in the previous tournament I was really impressed. He was winning faceoffs, scoring goals and stood out more than Kirk in at least one of the three I watched.

He seems to have continued that form. I'd be more than happy to see him in a Steelers uniform next season.

Priority signing for me next season would be Danielsen, I think he's been outstanding.

As a team we do give up plenty of chances, but I think it's just one of those things we have to accept. We have very offensive defencemen who like to step into the play, that's one of the reasons we're so exciting and score lots of goals.

Another very entertaining game.

Would just like to note at this point that, we're Hewy playing for Nottingham, he'd be their top points scorer.

I was searching for some time on the Elite website for the highlights of this game. Finally realised it was the game captioned, "Blaze vs Panthers. (Game 11)". Ultimate insult!
