Not watched the game, but that’s now 5 losses in 6 games. We’re 5 points behind 1st place. Unofficially I think we’re out of the title race.

Playing well for 20 minutes out of 60, won’t win you many games and that’s pretty much what the season has been.

Not good enough, simple as that.
Maybe I’m making too much of it but watching all the recent games I feel something has gone wrong with the team. I’ve no idea what. Let’s hope Fox does.

Fife have some decent players and are always a hard team to beat in their own barn,,,, so a pretty much expected result,,,
Well our record is pretty good in Fife.

Fife Home Record v Steelers

P 34 W 9 L 25 F 82 A 128

Now they’ve got win 10.

After losing last night, good teams bounce back the next game. We’ve not looked anywhere near like a good team for weeks.

Oh no…..

Haven’t been able to catch either game due to other last minute commitments but this is not sounding good. Wonder what’s happened with Tremblay - carrying an injury maybe?

My thanks to the guys on here for the match updates - much appreciated :thumb:

Am in Fife and watched this live. This team is playing short of players and ideas. Tremblay, Dougherty missing plus of course Gentile. Dowdy did not come on the ice 3rd period and looked physically ill on the bench, doubled over.. The covering players looked tired out and the goalies seem to be losing confidence. Face offs are a big problem.
Balmas is keeping us in games but you can't do it alone. Kelly did well.
As for Fife , their nhl players especially Booth ran the show. Lukic looked much better than at the arena.
To be fair their team and fans deserved the win. Good for them. They have turned up for years to watch loss after loss. Would we do that ? Not sure. The league needs a team in Fife.
Back to us , if we lose more imports to one thing and another , we wont be allowed to replace them. We only had 3 lines tonight . Going into the second half of the season and cup semi without a full squad is a bit daunting.
