Tansey played as a forward all night and ironically enough, smashed it.. Looked to be the best forward we had.. TANSEY SMASH

A solid performance against a bang average Coventry side.

We are looking more like our normal selves though, playing much better hockey with 6 straight wins.

Night off for Greenfield tomorrow. Both Cardiff & Belfast are rotating their goalies and the last thing we need is an injury to Greenfield in a guaranteed win against Fife tomorrow. Keeping Greenfield fresh is key for me.

We were discussing in the pub prior to the game which defenceman goes forward.

I was firmly in the Tansey camp, because he knows where the net is. He was on for a 14 goal season from defence, it doesn't always translate to a forward, but he skates well and has a good shot.

Greenfield is in the zone at the moment. As far as I'm concerned the only person who decides whether Greenfield plays tomorrow is Greenfield.

Coventry are a hard working team, but fairly limited. We made them look very average in that 2nd period.

Excellent second and solid third periods. Only concern for me was the amount of attention that Juusola and Golod got.

Game On

Job done, bonus of a shutout for greener who looks more like his old self again and the wining run continues, so cannot ask for any more at moment

Just a quick word for Cormier who really seems to have picked his game up.

Against Cardiff prior to Christmas he was -3 and on Boxing Day -2.

Since then he's:

Nottingham +1
Manchester +2
Manchester +3
Belfast +2
Guildford +2
Coventry +3

He really looks back to his best and full of confidence.

A final point.....those shirts were awful to read. I was really struggling to see the numbers on the back.....not a great idea.
