I think this is now deserving of it's own thread..
What needs to happen with the whole situation regarding our back up net minder..?
Is De filippo's good enough?
How does he prove that if he is..?
Is he injured?
Surley he should be in nets now for certain chosen games!
Is he too good to move down to Steeldogs for a run of games if its a confidence issue, is that even fair?
Norton, Warburton and Crowe are two way aren't they..

After Berlin at home we have Coventry in the cup. He might get that game.
Norton, Warburton & Crowe are all on 2-ways.

I must admit I was debating throwing up a thread like this one.
Out of interest I've just had a look at our nearest rivals (Belfa$t & Cardiff) regarding their goalies and rotation of them and it looks like this:
Belfa$t
Whistle - League = 2 games, CC = 5 games = Total: 7 games
McCollum - League = 5 games, CC = 5 games = Total: 10 games
Cardiff
Bowns - League = 10 games, CC = 5 games = Total: 15 games
Carruth - League = 0 games, CC = 3 games = Total: 3 games
Steelers
Greenfield - League = 6 games, CC = 8 games, CHL = 6 games Total: 20 games
De-Filippo - League = 0 games, CC = 1 game, CHL = 0 games: Total: 1 game
Right now for Greenfield, 20 games isn't a big issue, however as the season goes along he will need a break no matter how good he is. Our main rivals are rotating their goalies which IMO benefits their main goalie as the season progresses.
I don't believe De-Filippo is injured, I just think Fox has seen him in practice and doesn't believe he's up to the right standard required. His game against Manchester would suggest that is correct. I would be happy for him to play the remaining CC games to see though.
If he isn't up to the correct standard we go back to the market to try and get another import goalie who is good enough to play 10+ games. So all the Fife and Glasgow games

Rok departed the Panthers earlier this week, he’d be a superb back up for us.

strange situation at moment with marco,, mainly because we dont what know the situation with him is ( injury, not up to standard or just not the right time to play him in foxys mind). Regarding rok he would be a competent back up on most rosters

Maybe with the way the team defence has been in front of the netminder made foxy want to keep playing the undoubted number one. If the defence was better maybe he'd be playing more games.

I think everyone is jumping on a non existant bandwagon here. So what if defillipo didnt have a great game in Manchester IT WAS HIS ONLY GAME FOR AGES and it must take a bit to get up to speed you havent seen him in practice so let Fox do what he is paid for and lay off de Fillipo
