What a disgusting setup, I got in in very first second and most our our block and all the season tickets around me was gone..
at this point It wouldn't let me get any seats whatever seats I picked.
Each time it just says the seats are unavailable..
We went in on the event, the moment the event became live..There is no way half the arena was sold that fast, I was waiting at the screen for the event to go live and was on the map like 10 seconds later with our seats showing up in blue..
It said all seats we picked we unavailable... no matter what seats we highlighted (and yes these seats were all blue).. fuming

I just dont believe there are fans out there diving on season tickets seats that fast.. I JUST DON'T BELIEVE IT..

Which means they are reserving seats before the fans can get them.... :arrg: :arrg: :arrg:

This also means of course that they CAN AND SHOULD reserve Season Tickets seats for a few days first.... to me this is the kind of thing that alienates the fans... some corporate part time bods out on a jolly up takes priority over the day in day out fans, makes my blood boil

And I dont care if Steelers media are reading this and quote it either.. have at it....... :arrg:

I logged in at seconds past 4pm and virtually the whole of my ST block was gone. With a limit of 20 tix per application how is that possible unless "our" seats are reserved for the great and the good. Whatever, we're in.
It was actually 10 tickets :hey:

Steelers office confirm that they have gone to the great and good. Obviously more worthy.

The great and good should get in line like the rest of us, in fact I would go as far to say they should be getting what's left over.... :hey:

Managed to get 3 tickets, not where I wanted to sit, but at least I’m in.

They certainly look like they are selling fast, which is brilliant news.

It’s just a shame that season ticket holders haven’t had at least 24 hours to get their tickets first.

Sure it will sell out.

Surprise, surprise. We watched the Ticket Master count down clock and went straight on at 4.00pm to find that our entire block, and next block, sold. Steelers office say that they were reserved for the CHL. That's me done as a ST holder.
Tad bit of an overreaction no?

They said that this isn't a season ticket game and due to limitations can't hold season tickets (just like the last 3 games). In fact when they did try to release a previous game to season ticket holders only via link, season ticket holders went ahead and booked other peoples seats anyway.

It seems there are still lots of choices left so everyone just pick somewhere else and enjoy the fact we get to see this game.

And before anyone chimes in my season ticket seat wasn't available (as it wasn't for the last 3 chl games, nor the challenge cup final) but as with then, I got over it pretty quickly. :hey:

Not sure what this means? Are these seats/blocks reserved for corporate clients or player’s families etc?

Let’s hope whoever they are for they all turn up! Wouldn’t be great to see empty seats in the Great and the good seats/blocks.

Here is what bothers me about this.. If we are (the club or CHL) Reserving seats (all over the arena - not just a certain block) for, let just say the more deserving.. Why can't they reserve every season ticket seat for a few days, then release them for general sale afterwards?
The last time this happened (Cup Final) I got curious and checked out our seats.. Guess what never seen them before and not a Steelers shirt among them!
That's not definitive proof of anything I know, but it got me wondering how 20+ seats. Minimum around our usual seats didn't have a familiar face among them?

They may have been with held for sponsors. Whatever, as a Season ticket holder for 30 years I reckon I have contributed more to this club through thick and thin than any Johnny cum Lately sponsor.
A shame if money has come before loyalty.
