Niklas Nevalainen Heads Home After a Grand Slam
Grand Slam Steelers Niklas Nevalainen has confirmed that he won’t be returning to the Steelers next season and that he is returning home with his family to take up another opportunity and won’t be available to return.
The Steelers wish to go on record in thanking Niki for everything he has given us over the last two years on and off the ice. A quality player but even better person.

Nev goes with everyone’s best wishes I’m sure. Can’t fault him wanting to pursue other opportunities. Ice hockey is a short career.
For a smaller guy he’s certainly done very well defensively and rarely gets beaten one on one. +81 over two seasons is no mean feet.
All the best Nev.

Finlay Ulrick signed on a two way contract with the Steeldogs. Happy with this one, thought he did well when he iced with us last season.
