Everybody will get sorted. But patience is required in these unprecedented times.Greenbunch257 wrote:Statement taken from official site via Facebook.

With how the season has been, I don't think you could say that anyone is a sure fire winner, Cardiff would have been favourites for sure, but there have been plenty of upsets this season.... and if you look at recent form specifically, you'd have to say Coventry would have been in with a shout too.SteelerBlade wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 11:53 amI don't think you can gift a title like that when 3/4 other teams coukd win it. I think Devils may get CHL on points % with us taking the Continental Cup position.Orange Spartan wrote:Interesting to see what clubs and the league do now re refunds, league title etc.
To limit the financial impact, the league could give fans the option to guarantee their tickets for 2021 playoffs.
For season ticket holders who renew then they could discount next years tickets to those that are renewing.
It will at least give teams to plan finances for next season.
As far as league title. Guess that should be given to Cardiff based on the season to date results.

I hope the players all get home safely, foreign travel seems to be getting more complicated by the hour. Czech Republic has closed it's borders to all but local residents. North America seems to be allowing direct flights from the UK but I suspect anyone travelling via a European hub might have problems.

BREAKING:
Playoffs to be rescheduled, dates to be confirmed next week. Not giving up that £750k easy it seems.

Inevitable I'm afraid. What a great season we had, and I'd imagine there would have been a few twists and turns in the remaining games.
Quite fitting that such a close league has no champions.
I also imagine that club finances will be stretched, so I wouldn't mind if the season tickets just get closed down early too without refund and they just chuck us a discount against something next year - maybe freebie £5 tickets or something.

That’s interesting, it’s gonna cost owners of clubs a fortune in extra flights with players going home and back again if the play offs do go ahead.SteelerBlade wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 12:47 pmBREAKING:

I can't see it personally. I like the idea of an opening weekend to next season with all playoff tickets valid. 5 league games in Nottingham to kick off the season and get the £750k.The Technician wrote:That’s interesting, it’s gonna cost owners of clubs a fortune in extra flights with players going home and back again if the play offs do go ahead.SteelerBlade wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 12:47 pmBREAKING:

Over and above anything else, I would view even this potential alternative at high risk to cancelation as well. Main issue will be regarding imports & any travel restrictions still being in effect. Imports leaving now might not be able to return well beyond the summer, and new imports get in late. Then on the fan side, there are those like me who booked fixed hotels that are technically non-cancellable/refundable and it’s no guarantee all the hotels will either refund, or at least re-book for the new date.SteelerBlade wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 12:52 pmI can't see it personally. Obviously, this is all a very fluid situation, but I can see merit in the overall idea risks aside.
