I've heard that Guildford have sold 164 tickets, if true that's incredible. At least 64 more than I expected.

I wonder how many fans were pleased to get hold of tickets and then realised the game next Wednesday isn't the Challenge cup final? :peek: :-o

Guildford then. They have a very good record recently at the arena. Can’t see them bringing many fans of Wednesday night unfortunately.

Be great if we could sell enough tickets to get some extra seating in.
Nice though it would be, I just can't see extra seating being put in place for this. I think it would have to be a Saturday night against Nottingham with both teams doing well for that to happen. Lovely thought though. What an atmosphere that would make

I think I was being a bit generous when I suggested that whole side, which probably holds around 3,000, would be held in reserve for the other finalist.

I was thinking that side has been filled before in a final, but that was against Nottingham on a more favourable night.

Manchester did also bring over 4,000 to a final against London, but that was when they were a big club and the game was Saturday night.

On reflection 1,500 should be more than enough. Didn't we take 1,500 to the pre Covid final? Although that was on a Sunday.

Regards

Breaking News from the Arena Box Office

All remaining tickets for the Challenge Cup Final on Wednesday 13th March are now on sale..

If you're from Guildford and want a ticket, then I respectfully suggest you get a shift on.. as I suspect there will be plenty of Steelers fans after them too...

It's been said before I appreciate that but to play a FINAL on a Wednesday night makes the EIHL a laughing stock.

Finals should ALWAYS be at a neutral venue & be played on a weekend.

Let's hope Steelers bring their A game to this one, hoping for a stream so I can watch it.
