We will probably sign an import D to replace D Phillips and sign Graham full time to take J Phillips spot
That would fit in with the rumours accounts on social media

Tend to agree that the most likely scenario for us to do would be to replace with an import, the biggest problem with brit players is the shortage of top quality ones and everybody is after the same few

That's what I'd like to see.

If it's 15 imports next season

1 nm
5 defence + Jones
9 forwards + Dowd + Whistle + Graham

Possibly also consider Shudra or Brown as additional or replacement Brits.

Regards

A great servant for the Steelers and I wish him well.

Davey’s best years are certainly behind him and I am surprised that Belfast have signed him tbh.

Well I’m surprised and sorry to see Davey leave, we’ve had plenty of rubbish import D in our time but what do I know?

He was excellent for GB in Nottingham.

Good luck Davey!

Tin foil hat time, but maybe this opens the option for Jackson Whistle to come back to Sheffield? Would be a great signing as definitely allows NM duties to be shared with Greenfield, and then gives more freedom for 5 import D and doesn't require an additional import NM.

No inside knowledge at all, just a hunch

Confirmed by Bob in the star that were going with Graham and a Brit backup goalie could be Whistle
