That was probably something thought up so as not to upset Nothingham on the extremely rare occasions when the play-offs are held at Nothingham!

It really doesn't bother me who gets which dressing room or who gets the 'home' bench.... to me the thing that would make it feel like a home game (other than the distance to travel of course), would be the crowd.
We have been given half of the tickets for the game, so we can shout and cheer just as loudly as they can!
I'm sure there are more specific things that home advantage has that the players will notice more than that, but at the end of the day, it is what it is, we just need to bring the numbers and cheer on our guys!

Its not an home game and never was going to be, we play Cardiff away, its that simple, Yes we should have got the home team advantages but I can bet you Fox doesn't actually care, Cardiff play this in their barn, they are the home team its that simple, just like Nottingham at the play offs, you go there with that in mind and resolve to beat them despite of the disadvantage not because of any fake home advantage...NinjaBreadMark wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 8:54 amIt really doesn't bother me who gets which dressing room or who gets the 'home' bench.... to me the thing that would make it feel like a home game (other than the distance to travel of course), would be the crowd.

I think we just approach it as an away game in Cardiff. The familiar away room, the familiar away bench but with the added adv3of last change and a thousand more fans.

Just over a week to go! Seems to be coming up on us very quickly!!
I'm lucky enough to be going to this game next week, but just in case anyone can't get and wants to see it on TV, I've just had an email from FreeSports giving away 1 month of PremierSports for free. (I haven't read all the details, but I'm guessing that you will have to enter some card details, and then cancel before the regular payments start...)
Anyway, the code in the email I have is 'FS1MONTH' should it be useful to anyone out there.

Keith - the code was applied through FreeSports/Premier sports player on laptop. We can not get FreeSports on tv directly as not on Sky and our ariel does not pick it up as the transmitter is not the same as Sheffield, so have to resort to other measures! Hope this helps.
