My kids love it as it' childish 'fun'. I hate it as it's childish as fraught with risk. A reflection of the person running it?
Must admit, I am not a fan, nor am I a fan of booing players of other teams either. It annoyed me at the testimonial game, (which was a family fun event with lots of kids there) to hear someone shout something very unpleasant to Ben O'Connor. There was no need for it! Ben was there as a guest of Dowdy, not as a Guildford player , though the comment would have been unacceptable then too. No one boo'd or shouted obscenities at any other teams players, just O'Connor!
