Definately put my name into the : we want new coach camp: Its just a case of who would replace fox, not easy getting somebody who understands this league etc, but something needs to change, he has had time and its not worked out
Relating to current EIHL coaches, there is only Danny Stewart I'd welcome. Used to love watching him as an annoying rink rat, who might just get us back to the style of hockey I'd like to see. Thoughts?

Just out of curiosity, when the time comes for a new coach to be fetched in,, would it be tony smith who makes that decision soley or would he take advice from certain people and if so who might those people be

Wouldn't last as long as Liz Truss did as PM... Probably have the same effect on our finances as well.

Probably getting a bit ahead of ourselves here.

It's my honest opinion that Aaron Fox isn't going anywhere and he will be Sheffield Steelers head coach at the start of next season.

I'm OK with this as long as he learns from this season and brings in a core of players that can at least compete with Belfast.

Silverware or not, next term needs to see a vast improvement on the physical side of things and by that I don't mean McNally losing his springs and going nuts at inopportune times or Vallerand spitting his dummy out and hiding behind officials.

Both of which btw I really don't want to see in orange after this season.

He's going to be under enormous pressure to deliver on the ice and I hope for his sake, and ours, he gets it right. Or we at the very least see things moving in the right direction.

Will this not be his fourth season? Surely this season should have been the season where he had learnt from the two previous seasons and the Covid miniseries.

I dont get the impression that he has learnt as he's gone along, if he has he is continually failing to act on it.

He really needs to look at the Belfast and previously Devils model to see what works with regards to recruitment and playing personnel to get you over the line to win the league here.

Foxy surely understand this league now. But his teams play the same all the time, with some coaches in the past you could see PLAN B kicking in if PLAN A wasnt working, but this dosnt seem to happen with aaron

If he stays on for next season, then presumably he will go with plan A again... If plan A isn't Plan C by now then were in for another long season... :stink:
