More poor game management leading by two with two to go and we give away an offensive zone penalty

Are we in danger of getting too down on our team? The first was a better period than we’ve had in the first for some time, not brilliant but OK. The second was better than the first. We are going in the right direction. We now need a typical steelers third against a short benched storm
Not for me. From my point of view I call things how I see them. We’ve made hard work beating an under strength Storm side who were very poor.

They showed the highlights of the New Year’s Eve game during the period break on the stream and our pace was twice as fast as it’s been this weekend.

I’m sorry to say, we appear to just be going through the motions at the moment with the odd exception and if we play with the same intensity next weekend against Belfast then we won’t be coming away with any points. We play well for about 15 mins out of 60.

Whatever is causing the lethargic play needs addressing this next week.

We certainly don’t look like a league or cup winning side just now. A lot of faults should be capable of being addressed. Practice face offs, ensure we always have some defensive coverage, manage game situations better. Then it’s down to effort. We know the talent is there. Over to you foxy

Kinda zoned out a bit towards the end of that.

Played better than the Clan game, let's be perfectly honest we couldn't have played much worse, but it still wasn't a great watch. Dowds goal being the obvious highlight.
Some better individual performances but one or two still not cutting it for me, I won't name names.

The win is what's important though, wouldn't have been great for morale going into the Belfast weekend after a double W.
