Better than yesterday. Storm are missing two of their best players though so should be a nice easy win this one.

Not much feisty stuff yet though.

Looked like he was icing his hand pre game then took a slash prior to his penalty for roughing. I’m not defending it but the refs need to penalise the slash too. I guess that’s why he moaned.

Dowd with really the only highlight with a great goal.

Other than that, a very boring game with very little to get excited about.

Play like this against Belfast next weekend and we will lose both games.

Some of our passing has been horrendous. Good job Storm are rubbish.

Are we in danger of getting too down on our team? The first was a better period than we’ve had in the first for some time, not brilliant but OK. The second was better than the first. We are going in the right direction. We now need a typical steelers third against a short benched storm
