If it is one of the Brodeur Brothers Preferably Jeramy, then is a marketing dream of course, a franchise player if he is any good and worth is salary alone in shirt sales, who is going to turn down a chance to get a Brodeur shirt in Steelers colours...
and this could turn out to be a great way to bring Duba on as a Goalie coach, after all he is 39 next July...
bring him in on the same basis as Kantor was, then see what next season brings.. Duba stays on as player/coach, that would work i think...

If its true that JB is coming to the UK too play with the Steelers, he is probably just using it to show case his skills. His team are out of the playoffs, so he may like the idea of coming to the UK to take a look around, and earn a bit of extra cash. Its very doubtful whether he would stay....unless he falls in love with one of our lovely English ladies. He might also enjoy the adoration by the fans if we think he is any good. So its a waiting game now, cant wait!
I'd be happy with this as an addition.
Duba has had an excellent December and January, but the last 4 games he's not been close to 90%. That maybe down to poor defending, but I do wonder if the virus that caused him to come off early against Glasgow is still impacting on his performances.
This coming weekend we're going to need a netminder with over 90% if we're to stand a chance of success.

Maybe the Duba/Brodeur combination will be just what we need.

Huge signing for us, allows Duba to rest if needed. And provides realistic competition.
