I think its an interesting issue relating to Petgrave? very similar to talented footballers too! do you sacrifice opportunities, skill, talent and goalscoring for defensive cover? my point is, watch the highlights of the Steelers goals Petgrave is in just about every picture!!! yes he is also in some when we concede, but the positives clearly out-way the negatives! exactly like Benny at his best.
Just watched the highlights and Fox said Greenfield is sick as a dog. Let’s hope he recovers for the next games. Good news is he said he was 10 days in so hopefully he’ll be feeling better.
Enjoyed the highlights sounded like a great atmosphere. Dundee are very poor indeed. They need to get a better goalie as they’ll be no where near the playoffs if not.

He didn't look well after the game in the players lounge. Suprised he managed to play with how ill he looked.smbmetal wrote: ↑Fri Dec 23, 2022 11:36 amJust watched the highlights and Fox said Greenfield is sick as a dog. He's nowhere near as good as O'connor was in his prime but the issues I had with Ben are the same I have with our current #22, you're a D man. Do D first, we've got more than enough offensive firepower at our disposal.lovedenisvial wrote: ↑Fri Dec 23, 2022 11:06 amI think its an interesting issue relating to Petgrave? very similar to talented footballers too! do you sacrifice opportunities, skill, talent and goalscoring for defensive cover? my point is, watch the highlights of the Steelers goals Petgrave is in just about every picture!!! yes he is also in some when we concede, but the positives clearly out-way the negatives! exactly like Benny at his best.
I get the need for offensive D men but I'd take Mosey in that role over Petgreave every day of the week and twice on a Sunday.
Anyway...
Sorry but I can't agree at all. Any EIHL coach that could afford to sign Petgrave would jump at the opportunity if he became available.Nathan wrote: ↑Fri Dec 23, 2022 6:06 pmHe's nowhere near as good as O'connor was in his prime but the issues I had with Ben are the same I have with our current #22, you're a D man. Personally I don't rate him.

I've slated the lad a fair bit but to be fair to him hes put up points & been harshly penalized at times this season.Nathan wrote: ↑Fri Dec 23, 2022 10:07 pmAnd that's fine.kgw wrote: ↑Fri Dec 23, 2022 7:34 pmSorry but I can't agree at all. As been said by DOOM (I believe) Nevalainen has been absolutely outstanding for us this season, that's allowed Petgrave to push on up the ice, I guess that's the risk we have to take.
Here's a question for you :
If we hadnt of signed Petgrave, who would you had signed instead? Personally I like the look of Crawford at Cardiff but they are very similar players
