What's the latest news on Ostlund? shouldn't he have been back for this last weekend? I'm beginning to wonder if he's still part of this club???
Does seem fairly quiet regarding any news from the club, unless it was mentioned on the latest PodCast?
He's here for 2 years as well, I would at least want him to play in the remaining CC games.
Still, he's had plenty of time to settle into his Uni work.

Mentioned on the podcast that he's had a flare-up and needed another week, so it could be he's back this weekend. But he did arrive in late August so its been more than two months now since we have seen him or heard anything about his injury.
I've not listened to the podcast yet, but thought it might get mentioned.
He's going to have to go some to relieve Mr Greenfield of his No1 duties though. Although it would be good if Greenfield can get a break or two.
I'd re-sign him for next season now if he wanted to come back. Struggling to think of a better goalie for us since Moose.

Agreed, long way to go yet but if Greenfield can keep up this kind of form going forward, then he tops Moose for me.smbmetal wrote: ↑Mon Oct 17, 2022 12:14 pmI've not listened to the podcast yet, but thought it might get mentioned.

I see way down in Fairytale's latest Star article featuring Greenfield that Ostlund is now not doing the MBA with the university. That seems odd, and will he still be a two year deal?
Wonder if he has indeed reverted to a one year deal as Fox said when he signed him he would have come in for 1 year if they couldn’t get the 2 year Uni deal sorted out. Although from listening to Fox when he signed it does sound like it worked out as a 2 year Uni deal.

Only followed steelers since last November and 1st time season ticket holder for this season but don't shoot me down greenfield and Warburton for me an save an import slot?
I watched us when Warburton came on against Manchester last season granted we was comfortable in the game but barely put a foot wrong

I think we will see Ostlund against Storm in the CC if he's fit
