Feel sorry for Bowns as on the Inferno it seems he's the only reason they lost. What about the performance of the rest of the team??
To be honest I think it was a pretty even game until the Devils went behind. 3rd period was more one sided.

I thought that was a masterfully coached game, and Petgrave was an absolutely priceless presence. His spatial awareness and positioning on the backcheck is really going to be worth a lot.
That said, I still can’t get much of a read on the team. They have less immediate identity than the 2020 attacking squad, but are more promising than last year’s in terms of cohesion (IMO). I think we’ll need a few more months before our pattern across slog games and Belfast match ups alike start to show the full story.
Standouts for me: Petgrave, Ciampini, Latal and Kristo. The latter especially brings a maturity and calmness we’ve lacked in high tempo spells.

Steelers best performance of the season so far for me.
1st period was a bit cagey for both sides, but the turning point for me was Greenfield’s one on one save against Martin.
Petgrave and Ciampini were also excellent as mentioned by others.
Bring on Belfast. That’s our biggest test.
A nice rest against Fife & Dundee now

Great performance. Petgrave is some D man, he’s up there with the leagues best.
Ciampini is excellent and offers everything.
Kristo has been sublime since coming in.
Not many negatives tonight

Last time I checked he was statistically the #1 in the league.

Haven’t seen him play yet but it seems to me that Kristo has made a difference.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s game more than ever now.

What time is it Bowns? 5 past Cardiff I reckon.
I personally can’t stand Bowns and he can’t stand the Steelers or fans which he’s mentioned on a few occasions.
Hope he enjoyed the rest on the Cardiff bench after being pulled.
